Schaaf was an all-district and all-state selection at Eldo, averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds per game.

Also signing with the Bearcats are a 5'10" transfer from North Iowa Area Community College, Morgan Walker. A native of Rembrandt, Iowa, Walker averaged 10 points and seven rebounds per game for NIACC in her sophomore season. She attended Sioux Central (Iowa) High School.

The third spring signee for Northwest is Harrisonville native Samantha Hurst. After graduation from HHS, Hurst played the last two seasons at Kansas City Kansas Community College, averaging 13 points and four assists per game.

The three join a 2014-2015 recruiting class that had already included Raven Bunn, Elizabeth Finn, Tanya Meyer, and Bailey Smith, who signed in November.
