In the first new rounds, the Bulldogs struggled against the traditionally strong programs from Kirksville and Marshall. The host Owls swamped the Bulldogs 9-0. Isaiah Swann came closest to a victory for THS, losing by a 10-5 final (Summers). Leighton Fletchall managed three points in a loss (10-3) to Hadley of Marshall. Alex Davis fell 10-2. Trenton lost two other matches 10-1 and took a 10-love defeat. In doubles, Trenton lost matches by scores of 10-love, 10-3, and 10-3.

In round two, the Bulldogs did manage one victory, but ultimately fell to the Kirksville Tigers, 8-1. Trenton's Isaiah Swann took victorious at #1 singles, 10-4 over Hanson. Davis and Davis both scored four points, Marlay, Gannon Albrecht, and Fletchall losing their singles matches by 10-3 scores.

In doubles against the Tigers, the Trenton team of Lynch and Herring lost 10-5. Hall and Whitney fell 10-3, while Gavin Albrecht and Demsich lost 10-2.

In a complete turn of fortunes from the earlier tough sledding, Trenton dominated the third place duel with Fulton, rolling to a 9-0 victory. For the Bulldogs, Swann won 10-1 (Young), Alex Davis won 10-6 (Schneider), Marlay was a 10-4 winner (Hendricks), with Fletchall shutting out Storm 10-love, and J. Davis knocking off Adams 10-6.
