News : Tri-County Board Of Ed Approves Pay Increases

The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education has approved a 1% increase in pay for faculty and staff.

In addition, movement on the salary schedule is allowed, which means either $450 for up to 10 years of service or $500 for above 10 years.

The base teacher's pay next school year at Jamesport Tri-County will be $27,000.

The Jamesport Tri-County Board has offered a contract to Danyal Coon of Rock Port to
teach high school english. She has an english degree and is going through an alternative certification process to teach.

Ms. Coon works at an equine facility at Sidney, Iowa.

The Tri-County Board is offering contracts next academic year to all existing classified staff.

The Tri-County District is beginning the process of collecting bids for window replacements at the elementary school and the building housing agriculture and family and consumer sciences programs.

Graduation for 8 seniors at Jamesport Tri-County is the evening of May 10th at 6 o'clock.

Jamesport Tri-County School Board officers for the upcoming year are President Greg Landes, Vice President J.C. Hobbs, Secretary Megan Dewitt, and Treasurer Heath Cook.
