Sports : Trenton Boys Track Wins Brookfield Quad

The Trenton High School boy's track team finished in first place, and the Lady Bulldogs second (to host Brookfield) at Tuesday's Brookfield Quad. Milan, Norborne, and Northwestern were also in the five-school field.

First place finishers for the Trenton boys were Charlie Hoffman (in the 3200 meters, 1600 meters and 800 meters), Trey Shields in the 400 meters, Dalton Ellis in the 300 intermediate hurdles, and Dakota Schultz in the high jump. Trenton was dominant in the relay events, sweeping all four races. The 4 by 100 race was won by Dakota Anderson, Jonathan Lamp, Travis Leeper, and Clinton Brenner. The 4 by 200 event was claimed by the Trenton team of Dakota Anderson, Jonathon Lamp, Dakota Schultz, and Clinton Brenner. The 4 by 400 winners were Dalton Ellis, Jonathon Lamp, Trey Shields, and Gavin Griffin, with the 4 by 800 won by Thomas Mack, Trent Crawford, Charlie Hoffman, and Wynne Devorss.

The Trenton Lady Bulldogs had first place finishes from Ally Ockenfels in the shot put, Ayron Osborn in the triple jump, Whitley Richman in the 300 hurdles, Alexis Fender in the 100 meter dash, and Tenna Roberts, doubling up with victories in the 200 and 400 meter dashes. The Trenton team of Lana Raymo, Alexis Fender, Ayron Osborn, and Tenna Roberts took first place in the 4 by 200 meter relay.
