Head Coach David Sager told KTTN, "The dual was a good win for us. We didn't have a great showing at our first dual of the year (LeBlond) and I thought we bounced back from the loss very well. The whole team, varsity and JV, played with lots of confidence and good decisions on the court. We have many matches and duals left this season, so we're going to build off this win and continue our success off the courts".

Trenton will host the Carrollton Trojans on Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Here are individual results from the Trenton at Benton dual:

SINGLES:
Isaiah Swann d. Nathan Jones 8-2
Wilson Utley d. Carlos Montoya 8-4
Alex Davis d. Dayton Conroy 8-6
Chanse Houghton d. Austin Hendrix 8-1
Jacob Marlay d. Mark Sewell 8-5
Leighton Fletchall d. Zachary Frederick 8-4

DOUBLES:
Swann/Davis d. Jones/Conroy 8-1
Utley/Houghton d. Montoya/Sewell 8-6
Marlay/Fletchall d. Hendrix/Frederick 8-1

Trenton's record is 1-1, with Benton falling to 0-3.
