Two drivers were injured yesterday afternoon when separate accidents occurred north and south of Chillicothe.
The highway patrol said 63 year old Nancy Slonecker of Trenton was southbound when her mini van went off the west side of Highway 65, struck a driveway, became airborne, impacted the ground and overturned onto the drivers side.
The patrol report described injuries as minor with Mrs. Slonecker taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was listed as wearing her seat belt. The van was demolished in the 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon accident five miles north of Chillicothe.
An accident on Livingston county Route Z injured the driver of a southbound car that, according to the highway patrol, swerved to avoid a vehicle parked in the roadway; but ran off the left side, rolled once, and came to rest on its top in the northbound lane.
The highway patrol said 26 year old Kelsey Brown received minor injuries and she was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center. Ms. Brown was wearing her seat belt. The accident report listed her hometown as Mooresville and Tina.
The car was demolished in the 4:30 accident three miles south of Chillicothe.
