Trenton's only victory came from #6 single player Leighton Fletchall, an 8-4 winner over LeBlond's Matthew Hall. There were two TIGHT victories for the visiting Eagles in doubles play, with the team of Nadolski and Ford beating Isaiah Swann and Alex Davis 9-7, with Mears and Lierz of LeBlond beating Trenton's Chanse Houghton and Wilson Utley by the same 9-7 score.

Swann, Utley, and Jacob Marlay lost their singles matches by scores of 8-4. Davis lost his singles matchup 8-1, with Houghton falling by an 8-3 final. In doubles, Trenton's team of Marlay and Fletchall lost 8-love.

Trenton Head Coach David Sager said, "It wasn't the start out team was looking for, but LeBlond has a very good tennis program and brings great competition every time we play them. Now that the first duel is over, we are looking forward to the Cameron Tournament and work on improving game play one match at a time". The Cameron Tournament, originally scheduled for Wednesday, was postponed until Friday (9:30 AM) due to rain.
