Comments provided by Head Coach Travis Mullenix said, "It was a wet day! They had 2.5" of rain the prior to the tournament. But the rain stopped and under cloudy skies the boys were able to play 18 holes. Chase had a real good day and medaled finishing 10th overall. It was nice to see him start off the season playing well in a big tournament. I was also happy with the two freshman, Corbyn Guile and Nate Swann. There are a lot of big schools in this tourney and it can be a little overwhelming at first. They handled the pressure very well in the first varsity action of their careers. Its a tough course and they both finished with very respectable scores as freshmen."

Trenton continues its season on Monday afternoon, hosting the Putnam County Midgets at Riverside Country Club. On Tuesday, Trenton hosts Brookfield, before hosting the Marceline Tigers on Friday (April 11th).
