News : Grundy County Commission Seeks Bids

The Grundy County Commission is seeking bids for metal and polyethylene pipes, with fittings and accessories approved by the Missouri Highway Department.

Sealed bids are due at the Grundy County Clerk's office at the courthouse in Trenton the morning of April 15th at 9 o'clock---at which time they are to be opened and publicly read.

The Grundy County Commission also is seeking bids for gasoline and diesel fuel for use by the Grundy County Sheriff's Department, ambulances, and road and bridge trucks and equipment. The contract is to be awarded to 1 supplier for both gasoline and diesel fuel.

Bids are to state the discount from the self-service pump price, or on volume purchasing. They also are to include the current pump prices with taxes deducted. The successful bidder is to provide separate billing for each department and daily documentation of purchases, including the number of gallons purchased and the price per gallon. Fuel is to be supplied through April of next year.

Sealed bids to provide fuel are due the morning of April 15th at 9:30 at which time they are to be opened and publicly read.
