ST. LOUIS, MO (AP) – Seven years ago on March 13th, Kelly Allen went missing. The St. Louis resident was last seen at a friend’s apartment in Berkeley. Now, her family is still hoping someone with information will come forward.

With every flier taped to lamp posts, store front windows and left on the hoods of cars, Kelly’s family members hope they’re one step closer to finding her. “We just want people to keep her in their minds, and just try to bring remembrance to what they may have seen that night,” explains Tracey Allen, Kelly’s mother.

March 13th, 2007 still seems like yesterday. Her father, Tony Williams, recalls, “She was working at a nursing home, and she was trying to get another job, because she had an interview that morning. She had an interview the same day. And she went to the interview and came back [to Berkeley], police verify she came back here, and after that, we don’t know where she went after that.”

A search quickly ensued, but still no Kelly, and not a clue about what happened. Her cousin Brandi says, “It’s scary, not having any answers at all. It’s a very hard thing for us.”

That’s why the family spends March 13th of every year now, putting up fliers, hoping someone has seen the young woman, who’d be 26 years old today, with a rose tattoo on her shoulder, a half-moon tattoo behind her right ear, and hazel eyes.

Her father says, “Hopefully we’ll hear something after today. Maybe somebody will come forward and it’s been on their mind all this time and they want to say something. Maybe they’ll come say something this time.”

They hope this mystery will finally be solved, because they all miss her terribly. Kelly’s sister Brooke says, “It’s heartbreaking daily, it’s a struggle. But we keep our faith that everything’s going to be alright and she’ll come home to us.”
These fliers have even been posted in Chicago and Atlanta. If you have any idea what happened to Kelly Allen, you can make an anonymous tip to Berkeley or St. Louis Police.
