The Chillicothe Police Department has released a log of recent activities. Responses to calls include a minor in possession of alcohol, harassment, and, and assault.

On Tuesday, March 11, 2014, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Jackson Street. The incident was verbal and no arrests were made.

On Monday, March 10, 2014, officers assisted the Livingston County Children's Division in the 500 block of St. Louis regarding a child abuse investigation. The incident was determined to be unfounded.

On Monday, March 10, 2014, officers recovered a firearm in the 500 block of East Business 36. Officers reported the firearm was left at a hotel by its owner who was subsequently contacted and the property was returned.

On Tuesday, March 11, 2014, officers arrested John Eden in the 600 block of Walnut Street on a City of Chillicothe warrant for failing to appear on three animal related charges. Eden posted bond and was released from custody.

On Sunday, March 9, 2014, officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in a private parking lot in the 900 block of North Washington Street. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Charla Lane backed into a vehicle driven by Morgan Head.

On Monday, March 10, 2014, officers arrested Jackson Cairns at Jackson Street and Elm Street for minor in possession of alcohol. Cairns was released on a citation.

On Monday, March 10, 2014, officers arrested Amber Anderson in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street for possession of drug paraphernalia. Anderson was released on a citation.

On Monday, March 10, 2014, officers responded to the 800 block of State Street regarding a dog attacking another dog. Officers located the owner of the dog, Emily Prewitt, and she was issued a citation for allowing her dog to run at large.

On Tuesday, March 11, 2014, officers took a report of shoplifting in the 1000 block of Graves Street. This investigation continues.

On Thursday, March 6, 2014, officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Highway 190 and Hornet Drive. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Jessica Martin was following too closely and struck a vehicle driven by Douglas Martin. Martin was cited for following too closely resulting in an accident.

On Thursday, March 6, 2014, officer responded to the 1000 block of South Washington Street for a two-vehicle non-injury accident. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Sammy Reagin attempted to make a lane change and struck a vehicle driven by Jimmie Still. Officers reported major damage to the Still vehicle. Reagin was cited for making an improper lane change resulting in an accident.

On Sunday, March 9, 2014, officers took a report of harassment in the 100 block of Polk Street. Officers subsequently arrested Clayton McCoy for harassment, and he was transported to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

On Saturday, March 8, 2014, officers conducted a well being check in the 900 block of Fairlane Drive.

On Friday, March 7, 2014, officers conducted an investigation into a possible assault in the 400 block of Locust Street. Officers determined no assault had occurred.

On Tuesday, March 11, 2014, officers took a report of an assault that occurred at Clay Street Park. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

On Friday, March 7, 2014, officers took a report of a theft and fraudulent use of a credit card in the 200 block of Second Street. The suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

On Friday, March 7, 2014, officers took a report of theft in the 400 block of Jackson Street. This investigation continues.

The Chillicothe Police Department received 114 calls for service on Monday, March 10, 2014.

The Chillicothe Police Department received 102 calls for service on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
