He'll be on a 12 month contract with a salary of 75 thousand dollars for the next school year.

Ockenfels replaces Dennis Gutshall who plans to retire at the end of his contract.
The board appointed Wes Croy to replace Ockenfels for the athletic director position.
Croy will continue as head football coach.

Hired for the summer school session at Trenton were E'lisha Gass as administrator and Sabra Ferguson as secretary. Among other employments announced by the school district's central office: Taya Ray was hired as technology coach; Crystal Mayfield was employed for seventh grade science; Jackie Price was chosen for eighth grade communication arts; and Sarah Jackson was employed for Title One reading at Rissler School. All probationary teachers were re-employed for the 2014-15 school year.

Also re-employed were persons who have extra curricular assignments including
sponsors of student organizations; and coaches at the high school and middle school.

Three resignations were accepted. They came from a fifth grade instructor
Colleena Johnson, a fourth grade teacher Jackie Price, and a custodian Ron Wright.
