News : Three Hurt North Of Bethany In I-35 Accident

Three persons were hurt north of Bethany when a car went into the median of Interstate 35 and overturned.

The driver, 58 year old Shane Dooley of Des Moines, and passengers, 30 year old Tarnecia Jordan, and 5 year old Ian Jordan, both of Atlanta, Georgia, were taken to
Harrison County Community Hospital at Bethany. The highway patrol said all three persons had minor injuries.

The accident was 5 miles north of Bethany on Interstate 35. The patrol said the southbound car went into the median, became airborne after vaulting over a small embankment, rotated clockwise, and overturned before coming to rest on its top in the median.

The car was demolished. All 3 persons were wearing seat belts.
