The Board of Directors of Cameron Regional Medical Center has pledged $10,000 annually to the North Central Missouri College Foundation for student scholarships.
Students enrolled in North Central's Allied Health program will be eligible to apply for the funds, which will be divided annually among 2 or more students. Sophomores in their 2nd year of study at North Central Missouri College, and have what the college calls strong academic accomplishments are encouraged to apply. Those focusing their studies in specific areas of Healthcare deemed by Cameron Regional Medical Center to be in short supply may be given selection priority. Recipients are to be selected each summer.
North Central Missouri College Foundation Director, Teresa Cross, said the college is most appreciative of Cameron Regional Medical Center's Board of Directors for support of North Central's program and students.
Mrs. Cross said the college is proud to be the recipient of what she called a generous pledge from Cameron Regional Medical Center. The College Foundation Director also said North Central has what she called a very strong Allied Health program which provides many skilled healthcare providers for Northwest Missouri.
