Sports : Cameron Girls "Rip The Rams", Move To Class 3 Quarterfinals

The defending Class 3 runner-up Cameron Lady Dragons appear in prime form to make another trip to Columbia, moving one win away from that goal after a 68-43 win over Hogan Prep on Wednesday night.

CHS played one of its most complete games of the season, with Ashli Lykins leading the way with 20 points. Taylor Hamilton added 16 with Melia Richardson contributing 13. Cameron, with the win, improves to 24-5 on the season, and moves into a 4 o'clock state quarterfinal with El Dorado Springs on Saturday at the Independence Events Center. EDS adanced with a 79-58 victory against Lafayette County (Higginsville).

The Hogan Prep Lady Rams, in finishing the season with a record of 17-10, had Kierra Isaiah with 21 points and Briane Herraford with 18.
