Sports : Bulldog Buzzer-Beater Downs The Dragons

Trenton High School sophomore Colton Neff hit a shot at the buzzer, giving the Bulldogs a 54-41 win at Cameron High School on Tuesday night, in a game heard on KTTN FM 92.3.

Chase Tolson set up the winning play, racing from one baseline to the other, after Trenton passed the ball in with six seconds remaining. Tolson, on the dribble-drive, found an open Neff on the left block for the win. Tolson ended the contest with 21 points, with Neff scoring 11. Cameron had 21 points from Levi Hahn and 13 points from Cody Peterson.

The Cameron girls, after earning the #1 seed for next week's District 16 tournament at Lathrop, picked up a statement win against the #4 seed Trenton, 54-41. Melia Richardson led the Lady Dragons with 17 points, with Ashli Lykins scoring 14, and Taylor Hamilton 12 points. Madi Trump led Trenton with 12.
