Sports : Trenton Bulldogs Sweep Visiting PC Midgets

The Trenton Bulldogs claimed a pair of victories over the Putnam County Midgets on Friday night, in doubleheader action broadcast on Hot Country Z 101.7 and www.kgozfm.com.

The Trenton boys won a highly entertaining affair by a score of 78-69, holding off a series of Midget rallies in the second half to improve to 15-9 on the season. Cree Mullenix sizzled in the first half (16 points) and finished with 20 to lead THS, with Chris Flowers scoring 17, Chase Tolson 14, and Colton Neff 11. The Midgets were paced by 25 points from Cody Quint and 16 from Dylan Heidenwith.

The Lady Bulldogs used their stifling defense to win another game, beating Putnam County by a score of 51-32. Makaila Capeder led Trenton with 19 points, with McKinley Hurley contributing 10. Sara Webb led Putnam County with 10 points.
