The Chillicothe Police responded to several calls, including a man with a gun, and several vehicle accidents.

On Sunday, February 16, 2014, officers responded to the 1200 block of Washington Street regarding a two-vehicle injury accident. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Kristi Dittmer failed to yield the right of way and drove into the path of a vehicle driven by Holli Murrell causing a collision. Murrell was treated for minor injuries while on scene by the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services. Dittmer was cited for failing to yield to the Murrell vehicle.

On Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 0040 hours, officers responded to the 300 block of Henry Street after receiving a 911 call about a man with a gun. Officers arrived on scene and without incident took Terry Allen Greene into custody for Peace Disturbance. The investigation revealed that Green was not in possession of a gun, but a hammer. Greene was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Jackson Street. The incident was verbal and no arrests were made.

On Saturday, February 15, 2014, officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in the 800 block of Elm Street. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Charles Hardy struck a vehicle driven by Chris Peery as the Peery vehicle attempted to back out of a private drive. Officers reported moderate damage to the vehicles.

On Saturday, February 15, 2014, officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in a private parking lot in the 1000 block of Washington Street. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Rusty Schneiter struck a vehicle driven by James Dudley causing minor damage to both vehicles.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers assisted the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with a medical call in the 2900 block of North Washington Street.

On Saturday, February 15, 2014, officers took a report of a violation of an order of protection in the 800 block of Jefferson Street.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers took a report of theft in the 1000 block of Graves Street. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers took a report of stolen license plates in the 900 block of Jefferson Street.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers conducted a well-being check in the 400 block of Montgomery Street. Officers transported the resident to Hedrick Medical Center for further evaluation.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers took a report of property damage in the 1300 block of Monroe Street. As a result of the investigation, officers arrested Benjamin Hancock for property damage. Hancock was released on a citation.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Locust Street near Polk Street. Officers arrested Nicholas Bryant for driving while suspended. Bryant was released on a citation.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers conducted a well-being check in the 400 block of Jackson Street. The resident was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment by the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services.

On Wednesday, February 12, 2014, officers responded to the 400 block of Reynard Street for a well-being check. Officers referred the matter to the Division of Aging.

On Wednesday, February 14, 2014, officers took a report of theft in the 900 block of Webster Street. This investigation continues.

On Wednesday, February 12, 2014, officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in a private parking lot in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Alcy Peel struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Amy Peery. Officers reported no damage to the Peel vehicle and moderate damage to the Peery vehicle.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Park Lane and Morningside Drive. Officers reported the rear of a vehicle driven by Charles Riddle slid on the snow and ice as he attempted to make a right turn and the rear of his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Martha Gaston. Officers reported no damage to the Riddle vehicle and major damage to the Gaston vehicle.
