Sports : THS Sweeps Courtwarming Games Against Marceline

The Trenton High School basketball teams claimed convincing victories over the visiting Marceline Tigers on Thursday night at the THS gymnasium.

The Trenton girls improved their record to 16-6 with a 50-19 win. Makaila Capeder led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points, while Cassidy Cotton chipped in 10. The Trenton boys downed Marceline by a final score of 52-37. Chris Kurtz paced the Bulldogs with 13 points, with Chase Tolson and Cree Mullenix each contributing 10. The Trenton boys record is now 13-9. The Marceline girls are 13-7, while the Marceline boys are 6-13.

Trenton will HOST Putnam County on Friday night. The doubleheader, with pregame at 5:55 PM, will be broadcast LIVE on Hot Country Z 101.7 and www.kgozfm.com.
