The Laredo Board has approved a school calendar for next academic year in which classes begin this August 20th and conclude on May 8th of 2015.

The Laredo District will be paying $6131 tuition for each high school student from the Laredo district to attend Trenton R-9 next school year. That's up $14 a person.

The Laredo Board of Education voted to allow the Grundy County Health Department to hold a health fair at the Laredo school for district employees---and for the district to pay the $20 cost for a basic blood test. School employees would pay for any additional tests they wish to purchase. The health fair is March 25th.

Administrator Fox is to obtain cost estimates for security cameras and systems. The information is to be presented at the March Board of Education meeting.

Fox is to begin interviews next week for a Title 1 position.

Students applying for a Murphy scholarship should have them turned in to their high school counselor so they can be forwarded to a committee prior to the March Board of Education meeting.
