Sports : NCMC Pirates Win Back-To-Back Games

The North Central Missouri College men's basketball team improved to 12-10 on the season with a dominating 116-65 win over the Westminster College JV on Friday night at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton.

NCMC had 18 points from Xavier Newson, 14 from Jory Woodson, 13 from Tyler Peterson, 12 apiece from Tyrell Thirkield and Justin Seamon, and 10 points each from Avion Ashford and Jamin Brandt. The North Central men will travel to Ottawa, Kansas to plat the Ottawa University JV on Tuesday night at 7 o'clock.

On Thursday night, North Central hammered the Culver-Stockton JV, 109-80.

Double figure scorers for the Pirates were Xavier Newson 24, Avion Ashford 13, Tyler Peterson 11, and Justin Seamon, Jory Woodson, and Blake Johnson, all with 10 points.
