The Chillicothe Police Department has released a report of recent activities.

Officers were dispatched to a report of trespassing in the 600 block of East Street. Officers arrested Roger Saccaro for trespassing. Saccaro was processed and released on a Municipal Citation.

On 01/24/14, officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Third Street just west of Washington Street. Officers reported that a vehicle driven by Jevon Glasgow was westbound on Third Street when the steering went out of the vehicle causing it to strike a utility pole. Glasgow complained of minor injuries but declined medical treatment. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Chillicothe Truck Repair and Towing.

On 01/25/14 officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury accident on a private parking lot in the 300 block of Washington Street. Officers reported that a vehicle driven by Cynthia Ziebler was backing from a parking stall and struck a vehicle driven by Sarah Rechtermann causing minor damage.

Officers were dispatched to a report of stolen license plates. The victim was unsure where the vehicle was parked when the plates were stolen.

Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of E Jackson Street. Officers determined the incident to be verbal and no arrests were made.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a person being bitten by a dog in the 1200 block of Washington Street. Officers issued Patricia Kinnison a Municipal Citation for failing to have her pet properly vaccinated. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a stolen wallet in the 600 block of West Business 36. Officers later determined that the wallet had been misplaced and was located by the owner.

Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street in reference to a shoplifter. Officers arrested Andrew B Berry for shoplifting. Berry was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and released on a Municipal Citation.

Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Forrest Drive. The incident was determined to be verbal and no arrests were made.
