News : Four Area Residents Arrested, Two On Drug Related Charges

Two persons were arrested over the weekend and face identical drug-related charges.

Thirty seven year old Jacky Earl Kennedy of Trenton and 38 year old Stephanie Sue Miller of Galt are held at the Grundy county detention center in lieu of 30 thousand dollars cash bond. Both face felony charges from Saturday on charges of attempting to commit an offense by allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine. They also face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Trenton Police and Grundy county sheriff's department investigated the cases.

A rural Trenton resident, Amanda Reynolds, has three counts of endangering the welfare of a child January 15th. Court records indicate Ms. Reynolds, with an address of 463 Northeast 45th Avenue is accused of failure to provide safe and sanitary environment for three children: ages nine, 12 and 15. Bond is 30 thousand dollars cash.

Ms. Reynolds, Ms. Miller, and Kennedy are to appear tomorrow (Tuesday) in the associate division of Grundy county circuit court.

Former Trenton resident, 36 year old Shaun McAlister of Independence, faces a felony insufficient funds charge for allegedly passing a bad check in Grundy County. McAlister posted cash bond of 17-hundred and 50 dollars. He's accused of issuing a bad check to purchase 500 dollars worth of fireworks in early July 2011.
