Two ConAgra employees, Gary Smiley, and Jose Barron, attended the Trenton City Council meeting Monday night of this week to begin discussions with the City primarily regarding a desire by ConAgra to improve security at the Trenton plant by making it less accessible to the general public.

Most of the ConAgra presentation at the City Council meeting was by Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Gary Smiley. Also speaking briefly was Jose Barron.

One of the questions Smiley asked was whether ConAgra might be able to assume control of Harris Avenue in front of the ConAgra plant.

The topic was referred to the Trenton City Council's Administrative Committee---which holds a meeting with ConAgra officials this coming Tuesday at noon at City Hall.
