Radcliff finished with 19 points, with Destin Gann matching that mark with 19 for the Panthers, who move into the Milan Tournament championship game on Saturday night against the top-seeded Novinger Wildcats. On Thursday night, Novinger took care of the Newtown-Harris Tigers by a score of 59-41. The boy's title game will be Saturday night at 8 o'clock, on KTTN FM 92.3 and www.kttn.com, with Tom Johnson and Dennis Stephenson on the play-by-play call. Cade Mullenix, in Grundy R-5's semifinal win, added 11 points.
The Brookfield Lady 'Dogs are mowing their way through the competition at Milan, blitzing Green City in Wednesday night's semifinal round, 54-21. Brookfield will play the unbeaten North Mercer Lady Cardinals in Saturday night's championship game (6:30 PM on KTTN FM 92.3 and www.kttn.com). North Mercer breezed past Milan in Thursday night's girls semifinal, by a score of 55-25.
