Sports : Grundy R-5 Coaches Shows For Tuesday, 1/14/14

The Grundy R-5 Panthers are participating in the Milan Tournament this week, after the Lady Panthers finished sixth, and the Panthers third at the HDC Tournament in Jamesport.

The Lady Panthers fell to Winston 48-37 in the HDC Tournament's fifth place game on Saturday, and will play #2 seed North Mercer on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 in the Milan Tournament quarterfinals.

The Panther boys beat Mercer in the HDC Tournament's third place game 59-49, and came back on Monday night with a 51-41 victory over Milan in the Milan Tournament quarterfinals. Mason Larson had 18 points, Cade Mullenix 11, and Destin Gann 10 for the Panthers, who play Brookfield on Wednesday night at 8:15 in the semifinal round.
