Sports : Trenton To Play Gallatin At Lawson Tournament

The Trenton girls are seeded third, with the Trenton boys seeded fourth, for next week's Lawson Invitational Basketball Tournament.

The seedings mean a THIRD doubleheader between the Trenton Bulldogs and Gallatin Bulldogs this season, with Monday's games being the tie-breakers for the season series. Trenton swept Gallatin on December 7th in the championship games of the Gallatin Tournament, with Gallatin returning the favor, winning both games on December 19th.

Monday's girls game between the schools tips at 4:30, with the boys game at 6:00. Both games will be carried live on Hot Country Z 101.7 and www.kgozfm.com. Other Monday quarterfinals from Lawson High School will be : #2 seed North Platte girls vs. West Platte at 7:30 and the #3 seed Richmond boys against North Platte at 9:00.

Tuesday's quarterfinals will be: #4 seed Richmond girls vs. Hamilton at 4:30, #1 seed West Platte boys vs. Hamilton at 6:00, #1 seed Lawson girls vs. Carrollton at 7:30, and #2 seed Lawson boys vs. Carrollton at 9:00.

Consolation semifinals will be played on Wednesday, January 15th, championship semifinals on Thursday, January 16th, the consolation finals and girls third place game on Friday, January 17th, and the boys third place game, followed by both championship games, on Saturday, January 18th.
