The Chillicothe Police Department have released their report of recent activities. Activities include accidents, arrests, and drug related charges

On Friday, January 3, 2014 officers arrested 26-year-old Danielle Kasey at the Police Department on an active Livingston County warrant for failure to register a motor vehicle. Kasey posted bond and was released from custody pending a court appearance.

On Friday, January 3, 2013 officers responded to a residence at the 1000 block of First Street to check the well-being of a suicidal subject.

On Friday, January 3, 2014 officers arrested 27-year-old Justin Provolt at a residence at the 600 block of Commercial Street on an active Livingston County warrant for possession of controlled substance. Provolt was unable to post bond and was held at the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail.

On Saturday, January 4, 2014 officers responded to a business at the 200 block of N. Washington Street in regard to a report of an illegal controlled substance that was located in the parking lot at that business.

On Saturday, January 4, 2014 officers conducted a traffic stop at the 1200 block of Washington Street which resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Melton Mehrhoff for driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without headlights when required. Mehrhoff was cited and released from custody pending a court appearance.

On Saturday, January 4, 2014 officers took a report of a lost or stolen cell phone.

On Sunday, January 5, 2014 officers conducted a traffic stop at E. Herriman and Paul Street which resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old Rashiene Stewart on an active Grundy County forgery warrant. Stewart was cited for driving with no insurance and expired license plates and was held at the Grundy County Jail.

On Sunday, January 5, 2014 officers responded to a 1-vehicle non-injury accident at the intersection of Broadway and Jackson Street. It was reported that a vehicle driven by Rheea Morgan of Marceline MO was south on Broadway Street and slid on ice through the intersection at Jackson Street, resulting in Morgan's vehicle striking a utility pole, causing damage to her vehicle and the utility pole.

On Sunday, January 5, 2014 officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Third and Cherry Street which resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old Curtis Provolt for driving while suspended. Provolt was cited and released from custody pending a court appearance.
