News : Auction And Gala Planned In Chillicothe

Planning is already underway for the 2014 Piccadilly Ladies Night Out Auction & Gala. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 8:00 am at the Chillicothe Commerce Center offices at 514 Washington Street.

“We have some wonderful and exciting changes in store for our fifth annual event that will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014,” explained Lindy Chapman, Executive Director of the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are returning to the Chillicothe Elks Lodge this year and the committee is working hard to make the 2014 Piccadilly another huge success.”

Micah Landes, Executive Director of the Main Street Chillicothe added, “Information about event sponsorship opportunities has been made available through both Main Street and the Chamber. This is a great chance for businesses to showcase their products and services to 300 women at one time. We appreciate the overwhelming support the business community has given to this event in the past and look forward to working with them again this year. The Piccadilly Gala and Auction includes a plated meal, a silent auction and the live Piccadilly Auction, which is played by bidding with quarters on items donated by local and regional businesses. Woody’s Automotive Group will once again be the Diamond Sponsor for this year’s event.

Funds raised at the Piccadilly will be used to fund the events and programs that Main Street and the Chamber sponsor throughout the year. Main Street Chillicothe encourages downtown revitalization through economic development and hosts downtown events such as the mural program, BooFest, and Christmas on the Square. The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce promotes the business community, and sponsors family and community events such as the Chautauqua in the Park and the Holiday Parade that help showcase the community and bring people to Chillicothe.

“We hope you will gather your girlfriends and join us for Piccadilly Bella Italiana this year at the Chillicothe Elks Lodge,” added Landes. Tickets are $40 each or $320 for a table of eight women. The tickets must be purchased in person at the Commerce Center office with cash, check or credit card. No early or phone sales will be taken.
