Trenton beat Marceline in head-to-head action by a score of 45-36, and lost to Plattsburg 42-33 and Lathrop 40-39. Head coach Charlie Bacon highlighted the performances of Trey Shields and Terrin Ellis, who got some big wins for Bulldogs. Thomas Mack won all three of his matches. The two most note-worthy victories for Trenton were from Drew Rorebeck and Mason Mounce against Lathrop Mules competitors.

Drew was up against senior Caleb Osborn, who is currently ranked number 1 in the state. After giving up a take-down in the first, Drew came back in the second period, locked up a cradle, and pinned Osborn for a very exciting win. Mounce was up against the returning state champion, and number 1 ranked Josh Hartzell. Mason only gave up one take-down and dominated the rest of the match until it reached the end, with a final score of 12-5.

Weather permitting, Trenton will host their annual wrestling tournament on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the THS gymnasium.
