The Chillicothe Police Department has released a recap of their recent activities.

On Thursday, December 12, 2013, officers took a report of burglary which occurred in the 1200 block of Locust Street. Investigation is on-going.

On Friday, December 13, 2013, a Kindle tablet was turned in to the Police Department. The tablet had been recovered at Simpson Park in September of 2013. The tablet will be held at the Police Department until an owner is identified.

On Friday, December 13, 2013, officers took a report of theft from the 200 block of Turner Street. Investigation is on-going.

On Friday, December 13, 2013, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Jackson St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. The incident was found to be verbal in nature and both parties separated for the night.

On Thursday, December 12, 2013, officers took a report of a two-vehicle non-injury motor vehicle crash reported to have occurred on N. Washington Street near Third Street. A vehicle driven by Karen S. Jones was north on N. Washington St. when her vehicle was struck by an unknown driver. The suspect vehicle left the scene. Investigation is on-going.

On Saturday, December 14, 2013, officers took a report of stolen property from the 400 block of Webster Street. Investigation is on-going.

On Sunday, December 15, 2013, officers took a report of stolen property from the 400 block of Walnut Street. Investigation is on-going.

On Sunday, December 15, 2013, officers were dispatched to a fight in the 100 block of Jackson Street. Officers arrested Kodi Lee Souders and Isaiah Wayne Barron for minors visibly intoxicated. They were transported to the Police Department for processing. They were given a court date and released.

On Saturday, December 14, 2013, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Webster Street in reference to an assault.

Officers responded to 78 calls for service on Friday, December 13, 2013.

Officers responded to 61 calls for service on Saturday, December 14, 2013.

Officers responded to 69 calls for service on Sunday, December 15, 2013.
