Sports : Meadville Sweeps Atlanta In High School Hoops (+ Area Scoreboard)

Coming off of a pair of Northwestern Invitational Tournament titles, the Meadville Eagles returned to their home floor on Tuesday night and claimed victories over the visiting Atlanta Hornets.

The Lady Eagles won by a final score of 55-40, with Haley Fitzpatrick scoring 23 points for Meadville, while Halee Neal and Emilie Cowan both scored 10. For Atlanta, Sam Reed had 14 points and Sheyenne Klamert 12. The Meadville girls are now 4-0 on the season.

The Meadville boys crushed Atlanta by a final score of 74-28. Dalton Palmer scored 16 points, Kolton Freisner 14, and Cade Shiflett 13 for Meadville. Garret West was Atlanta's leading scorer, with nine points.

The Meadville teams travel to Hale to play the Cardinals in doubleheader action on Friday night.
