Sports : TMS Girls Beat South Harrison, 38-18

The Trenton Middle School girl's basketball team continues to play strong basketball, rolling to an 38-18 victory on Monday night at South Harrison.

Ashton Whitaker led TMS with 12 points, with Ainsley Tolson scoring 10. Salem Croy had six, Mykah Hurley 4, and Taylor Richman, Lauren Dolan, and Claire Utley all scored two points.

The Trenton Middle School "B" girls team beat South Harrison 23-14, with Dolan scoring 13 points, Gilham six, and Provorse and Weaver both two.

The Trenton Middle School "A" boys played what Coach Ched Hurley called their "best game of the season", but came up on the short end of a 35-33 final to South Harrison. The game was tied after one quarter, with Trenton leading 12-11 at the half, and 19-18 after three quarters. Trenton cut its turnover total to seven. Lathan Croy led the attack for TMS with 17 points.

The Trenton Middle School "B" boys dropped a close game to South Harrison, 31-26. Cotlon Colston led TMS with nine points, with Rodney Lawrence adding seven.
