The Chillicothe Police Department have released their recent activity. Recent incidents include domestic violence, and, several accidents.

On Friday, December 6, 2013, officers took a report of an accident reported to have occurred on private property in the 1000 block of Graves St. A vehicle driven by David W. Speicher was backing from a parking space and collided with a vehicle driven by Marjorie L. Parks. No injuries were reported.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2013, officers recovered a winter coat lying in the roadway in the 200 block of Henry St. The coat was returned to the owner.

On Saturday, December 7, 2013, officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at the intersection of Washington St. and Third St. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Kimberli A. Buckner was stopped at the stop light on Washington St. at Third St. in the southbound lane. A vehicle driven by Sandra J. Colliver was southbound on Washington St. and struck Buckner's vehicle. Minor damage was reported and Colliver was issued a citation for following too closely involving an accident.

On Saturday, December 7, 2013, officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Washington St. and Business Highway 36. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Larry L. Hamilton was stopped at the stop light on Washington St. at Bus. Hwy. 36 in the northbound lane. A vehicle driven by Marcia K. Moss was northbound on Washington St. and struck Hamilton's vehicle. Minor damage was reported and both drivers complained of minor pain but refused medical treatment. Moss was issued a citation for following too closely involving an accident.

On Friday, December 6, 2013, officers took a report of a lost or stolen vehicle key in the 400 block of Park Lane. Investigation is on-going.

On Saturday, December 7, 2013, officers arrested Raven Cheyene Pittman in the 600 block of Walnut St. on an active Chillicothe Municipal warrant. She was unable to post bond and was held at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.

On Saturday, December 7, 2013, officers responded to a Domestic Disturbance in the 300 block of Jackson St. The incident was found to be verbal in natured and no arrests were made.

On Friday, December 6, 2013, officers took a report of a non-injury accident which occurred on Locust St. near Webster St. Officers report a parked vehicle belonging to Jaryn L. Schneider was parked unattended on Locust St. facing south. A vehicle driven by Julie C. Cassidy stuck Schneider's vehicle as Cassidy was leaving the parking space behind Schneider's vehicle. Minor damage was reported.

On Thursday, December 5, 2013, officers took a report of a fraudulent check being passed at a business in the 600 block of Washington St. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

On Sunday, December 8, 2013, officers were dispatched to a report of kidnapping which allegedly occurred in the 500 block of N. Washington St. An investigation was conducted and the incident was unfounded.

On Monday, December 2, 2013, officers took a report of a non-injury accident which occurred on Dickinson St. near Cooper St. Officers report a vehicle driven by Joyce E. Sanson was backing on Dickinson St. and backed into a parked vehicle owned by Brian R. Gatson. No damage was reported.

On Monday, December 2, 2013, officers took a report of a non-injury accident which occurred on private property in the 900 block of N. Washington St. Officers report a vehicle driven by Debbie K. Barrows was backing from a parking space and backed into a vehicle driven by Katherene M. Vietti. Moderate damage was reported.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2013, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Webster St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. The incident was found to be verbal in nature so no arrests were made.

On Friday, December 6, 2013, officers took a report of a non-injury accident which occurred on private property in the 500 block of S. Washington St. Officers report a vehicle driven by Tawanda L. Jewell struck a vehicle driven by Joshua K. Bundy. Jewell's vehicle sustained minor damage. Bundy's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

On Thursday, December 5, 2013, officers took a report of a non-injury accident which occurred on Hickory St. near First St. Officers report a vehicle driven by Austin C. Anderson slid on ice and struck a vehicle driven by Carolyn S. Dinwiddie. Anderson's vehicle sustained minor damage and Dinwiddie's sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

Officers responded to 62 calls for service on Friday, December 6, 2013.

Officers responded to 55 calls for service on Saturday, December 7, 2013.

Officers responded to 50 calls for service on Sunday, December 8, 2013.
