News : Chillicothe City Council Slated To Meet Tonight

The agenda for a meeting of the Chillicothe City Council Monday night includes a public hearing to consider an ordinance approving a plan for an industrial development project for IBC North America.

The council will look at authorizing the issuance of $3.9 million of maximum principal amount of taxable industrial development revenue bonds for the IBC North America project, entering into a lease agreement with IBC North America, and other related documents.

Also on the Chillicothe City Council agenda is setting Chilli Bay and Golf Course rates, discussion regarding the purchase of an additional slide and float device for Chilli Bay, an ordinance regarding the Railroad Board, introducing a new police dispatcher and police sergeant, and a closed session regarding litigation, real estate, and personnel matters.

The Chillicothe City Council meeting is Monday night at 6:30 at Chillicothe City Hall. It will be preceded by a site visit and workshop at the hospital construction site at 5 o'clock and a continuation of the workshop at City Hall at 6 o'clock.
