In the girls game, the Lady Midgets led throughout the first half and took a 16-10 lead into halftime. In the second half, Trenton's full court pressure led by Whitley Richman, Lana Raymo and Tenna Roberts took control of the game, outscoring PC 15-1 in the third quarter to take a 25-17 advantage. Trenton would pull away in the 4th and win 38-25.

Tenna Roberts led the way with 10 points and 3 steals, followed by Richman with 9 points and 5 rebounds. Ally Ockenfels had 7 points and 3 boards, Raymo had 4, and Daryian Otto, Jaylen Neff, Jordain Oshel, and Lexie Tolson had 2 each.

Head Coach John Cowling said, "This was a good team when, especially with all 8 girls scoring. I was really happy with our defensive intensity in the second half and the girls did a great job of finding the open girl on offense".

The Trenton JV boys had a steady and strong effort in defeating Putnam County by a final score of 49-28, Kail McCarter and Spencer Harris each scored 11 points for Trenton, with Brice Dillon adding seven.

Head Coach Adam Clark commented, All of the boys played well tonight. It was a complete team effort. The boys were in control of all four quarters. Putnam made a run at us in the second quarter; however, the boys kept their focus and took care of business at the charity stripe. We went 10 of 14 free throws just in the second quarter, 15 of 23 for the game. Our defensive pressure was very good, we were able to force several turnovers for scores. At both ends of the floor they boys rebounded well. We also had 9 assists on the night and that shows how unselfish the boys played tonight."

The next Trenton junior varsity games will e Friday, December 13th in Jamesport against the Tri-County Mustangs. The girls game will tip at 6 o'clock, followed by the boys contest.
