Sports : Stanberry Boys, South Harrison Girls, Named #1 Seeds For Albany Tournament

The defending Class 1 state runner-up Stanberry Bulldogs have the #1 seed for the Albany Invitational Basketball Tournament, to be played from Monday, December 2nd to Saturday, December 7th in the Albany High School gymnasium.

Both the girl's and boy's tournaments at Albany will consist of seven schools, meaning both bracket and 'pool play' formats will be used through the event.

Here is the complete schedule for the 2013 Albany Invitational Basketball Tournament:

Monday, 12/2/13:
GIRLS QUARTERFINAL: (1) South Harrison vs. (7) Albany at 4:45 PM
BOYS POOL PLAY: (3) South Harrison vs. (6) Polo at 6:15 PM
GIRLS POOL PLAY: (2) Polo vs. (6) Worth County at 7:45 PM
BOYS QUARTERFINAL: (1) Stanberry vs. (7) Worth County at 9:15 PM

Tuesday, 12/3/13:
GIRLS POOL PLAY: (3) King City vs. (6) Worth County at 4:45 PM
BOYS QUARTERFINAL: (4) King City vs. (5) Princeton at 6:15 PM
GIRLS QUARTERFINAL: (4) Stanberry vs. (5) Princeton at 7:45 PM

BOYS POOL PLAY: (2) Albany vs. (6) Polo at 9:15 PM

Wednesday, 12/4/13:
GIRLS CONSOLATION SEMIFINAL at 6:00 PM
BOYS CONSOLATION SEMIFINAL at 7:30 PM

Thursday, 12/5/13:
GIRLS POOL PLAY: (2) Polo vs. (3) King City at 4:45 PM
BOYS POOL PLAY: (2) Albany vs (3) South Harrison at 6:15 PM
GIRLS SEMIFINAL at 7:45 PM
BOYS SEMIFINAL at 9:15 PM

Friday, 12/6/13:
GIRLS 5th PLACE GAME at 5:30 PM
BOYS 5th PLACE GAME at 7:00 PM
