The North Mercer Board of Education has approved a policy allowing students to ride home with adults rather than their parents if a written note is approved by the sponsor prior to an activity.

15 North Mercer students earned Millemon math awards---6 of them for the first time. The recipients earned nearly $20.

Persons wishing to run for the North Mercer Board of Education in April can file at the district office December 17th through January 21st. The filings will be accepted during school hours---except for January 21st when the filings will be accepted until 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

There are 3 3 year terms to fill in April on the North Mercer Board of Education election. The terms of Mike Noe, Greg Widner, and Julie Graham expire in April.
