Certified staff in the Princeton school district qualifying for retirement this school year can receive five thousand dollars by submitting their retirement notice by the regular January board of education meeting.

The Princeton board of education approved the incentive during its meeting last night.

The board approved renewal of property, casualty, and liability insurance for next year. The cost is slightly over 43-thousand dollars, an increase of nearly nine percent compared to this year. The coverage is through CPSK Insurance.

The Princeton board of education approved Mason and son snow plowing of Princeton to remove snow from the Princeton campus this season. The cost is 295 dollars each time.

The Princeton board approved a cooperative sponsorship with the north mercer school district. Princeton will be the Host school for varsity and junior high school football, and Junior high school softball. North mercer will be the host school for varsity boys softball.

Jackie price has been named a teacher of the quarter while Crissy Weber was named an employee of the quarter for her work as a paraprofessional.

The Princeton board of education held an executive session for student and personnel matters. No action was taken.
