News : Grand Marshalls Announced For Holiday Parade At Chillicothe

The Grand Marshals for the 67th annual holiday parade at Chillicothe on November 23rd are Roger and Ron Wolf.

Ron Wolf joined the Grand River Technical School faculty in 1971, became Assistant Director in 1984, and 5 years later was promoted to Director. Ron Wolf served as either Director or Co-Director with his bother Roger until his retirement this year.

Roger Wolf moved to Chillicothe as an agriculture instructor in 1977 and taught 12 years. He then joined the administration of the technical school, and served in that capacity for 24 years until his retirement this year.

The Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce said both men have served on numerous boards and committees to benefit Chillicothe and the Missouri agriculture community.

The deadline to enter the holiday parade at Chillicothe is this Friday. The parade is presented by the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce---and sponsored by Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe Hy-Vee Food Store, and Midwest Gloves and Gear.

The parade is the morning of November 23rd at 10 o'clock. It will include floats, various other entries from organizations, youth groups, churches, businesses, and individuals, bands and other musical groups.

Royals mascot Slugger will be sponsored by Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company. Chiefs mascot KC Wolf will be sponsored by Trenton Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
