News : TMS Honor Choir To Perform At Platte City

This Saturday, 12 Trenton middle school students from 7th & 8th grade will be singing in an honor choir at Platte City Middle School.

The students begin rehearsing the music Saturday morning. The concert will be at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

Students chosen for the honor choir are: Sopranos: Emma Gilham, Emma Norris, Sarah Dryer and Ashten Whitaker; Altos: Salem Croy, Ainsley Tolson, Emily Bonta, and Felisha Orndorff; Baritones: Jarren King, Jesse Farmer, Dakota Cutsinger, and
Wyatt Neal.

The vocal music department has three public programs scheduled next month.

The annual Vesper Service with members of Gold Rush is at 3 o'clock on December 8th at First Baptist Church.

The Middle School Winter Concert for the 7th and 8th Grade Choir is at 5 o'clock also on December 8th at the First Baptist Church.

The Trenton High School Women's Choir presents a winter program at 7 o'clock December 19th in the Hoover Theatre of Grundy County Jewett Norris Library.

Matthew Remus is the sixth through 12th grade vocal music instructor for Trenton R-9 school district.
