Accidents : One Injured In Caroll County Accident

One person was injured in the collision Monday of two vehicles, including a large truck, in rural Carroll County.

The highway patrol said 27 year old Abigail Hawkins of Bogard received moderate injuries. She was taken by Ambulance to Carroll county memorial hospital in Carrollton.

The state patrol reported Ms. Hawkins was northbound on U-S 65 when she apparently pulled into the path of the southbound truck driven by 27 year old Caleb Gilgour of Bogard.

He wasn’t hurt. The accident early last eveningat Highway 65 and Route W demolished the Hawkins vehicle. The large truck received extensive damage. Both drivers were using seat belts.
