There were over a hundred entries for the weekend quilt show during the Missouri Day Festival in Trenton.

Among the award winners: the viewers choice, best of show, was Roses and Lattice showed by Flora Lee. She had pieced and hand quilted the entryWinning the youth category was Shadows, an entry shown by Evie Dowell, piecedand quilted by her mother. Winner of the raffle quilt called Missouri Harvestwas Christine Chaney.

In the judged quilts, first place was Stars Around the Garden, submitted by Cyndi Johnson. Among the non-judged entries, viewer’s choice, first place went to Basket of Flowers, shown by Joyce Evans.
