The Chillicothe Police Department have once again released a report of their recent activities. One incident involves a transfer to The Grundy County Sheriff's Department.

On 10/15/2013 at 1400 hours, officers took a report of a leaving the scene of an accident that occurred in an alleyway in the 300 block of JFK Avenue in Chillicothe between 10/14/2013 and 10/15/2013. There was reported minor damage to a vehicle that was parked there overnight.

On 10/15/2013, officers arrested 33-year-old Laura Beth Waterman for shoplifting from the 1000 block of Graves Street. Waterman was arrested, cited, and released on a summons to appear in court at a later date.

Officers arrested an 83-year-old male in the 2600 Block of North Fair according to a warrant issued for a mental evaluation. The male was taken into custody without incident and transported to Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph Missouri.

On 10-15-2013 Chillicothe Police officers made contact with a white male at the corner of Washington Street and 3rd Street. As a result of the contact, 22-year-old Evan James Collins was arrested on a 24-hour investigative hold at the request of the Grundy County Sheriff's Department. Collins was then transported to the custody of Grundy County Sheriffs Department.

On Monday, October 14, 2013 officers of the Chillicothe Police Department arrested 38-year-old Timothy Ashlock at the 600 block of Walnut Street on a Parole Violation warrant. Ashlock was held at the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail.

On Monday, October 14, 2013 officers took a report of two tool boxes that were stolen outside of a residence at the 1200 block of Easton Street. This incident is still being investigated.

On Monday, October 14, 2013 officers responded to a domestic dispute at a residence at the 1500 block of Jackson Street. There was a physical altercation reported by one of the subjects involved but no signs of any injuries. The subject who reported being physically assaulted did not wish to cooperate with criminal charges.

On Thursday, October 10, 2013 officers responded to a fight in progress at the 300 block of Third Street. Officers arrested a 42-year-old male subject for assault, and he was held at the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail.

On Friday, October 11,, 2013 officers assisted the Livingston County Children's Division with hotline call of a possible child abuse incident which occurred at a residence at the 1200 block of Easton Street.

On Sunday, October 13, 2013 officers responded to a domestic dispute at a residence at the 1800 block of Calhoun Street. The dispute was verbal and no arrests were made.
