News : Kirksville Police Investigate Burglaries

Kirksville Police are currently investigating commercial burglaries at the Kirksville Small Animal Hospital and Custom Complete Automotive, both of which are located in the north part of Kirksville.

On 09/09/13, police responded to the Kirksville Small Animal Hospital in reference to a burglary. Police found two subjects had forced entry into the building and damaged property within the building in what appeared to be an attempt to steal from the business. Police obtained video from the business which depicted two subjects wearing hooded sweatshirts and something over their faces.

On 10/15/13, police responded to Custom Complete Automotive in reference to a burglary. Police found a single suspect had attempted to gain entry by prying a door. This suspect was apparently scared away when a security alarm sounded. Police obtained video from the incident which depicted a subject wearing what appeared to be a hooded coat and something over his/her face.

It is unclear at this time if the two cases are related, however, there are similarities in the two cases.
