S.M. Rissler Elementary School will release classes at 12:50 Thursday. Parent/Teacher Conferences on that same day are 1 o’clock through 7:30 p.m. Those unable to keep their appointed time are asked to call Rissler school and re-schedule their conference. Trenton middle school will release classes at 1:07 on Thursday.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are that same day from 1:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. 5th and 6th grade teachers are scheduling appointments only with parents of students not meeting academic requirements. There will be an open time for other parents to come in on a first come – first served basis. No appointments are necessary for parents to see 7th and 8th grade teachers or the exploratory teachers. Before having a conference, all parents should stop at the Trenton middle school office to pick up their students 1st quarter grade report.

Note that grade cards not picked up at conferences will be mailed Friday. Trenton high school also dismisses classes early Thursday afternoon. With T-H-S parent teacher conferences from 1:30 until 7:30, the student council and speech class – are hosting a chili supper Thursday with serving from 4 until 6 o’clock. In an effort to increase attendance and parent involvement with the conferences, chili and cinnamon rolls will be free to students and their parents. The speech class also will offer hot dogs as an option in cases attendees want to have a chili dog instead. Parents are to go to the office to pick up grade cards before visiting with THS staff. Teachers will be in their classrooms for conferences. Appointments are not necessary.
