The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved an addendum to an electric territorial agreement between Farmers Electric Cooperative and Ameren Missouri.Click to see original Image in a new window

It allows a single residential structure owned by Beetsma Farms near Mooresville to receive electricity from Farmers Electric, even though the structure is within Ameren Missouri's service area.

The Public Service Commission staff recommended the addendum to the territorial agreement be approved. That came after Ameren and Farmers proposed to amend an existing territorial agreement between the 2 entities that was approved by the Commission in 1998.
