The Chillicothe Police Department have once again released their report of activities over the last week. The report indicates a response to domestic assault, a stolen vehicle, and an arrest on drug related charges.Click to see original Image in a new window

Officers were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle from the 500 block of South Washington Street. The vehicle was described as a black 2001 Ford F150 pickup with Missouri license CFLM3.

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop at the intersection of Webster and Washington Street. Officers arrested Travis W. Walker for driving while suspended and defective equipment. Walker was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and released on Municipal Citations. Officers also arrested a passenger in the vehicle, Genelle L. Barnett, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of up to 35gm of synthetic marijuana. Barnett was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic assault in the 500 block of West Mohawk. The suspect fled the area prior to Officer's arrival. Officers have requested a warrant for the suspect's arrest.

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Washington and Ann Street. Officers arrested the driver, Scott R. McNally, on two Boone County Traffic warrants. McNally was also issued Municipal Citations for no valid operator's license and expired plates. McNally was transported to the Police Department were he was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail. Officers also arrested a passenger, Cynthia P. Harlow, on a Lafayette County probation violation Warrant. Harlow was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and turned over to a Lafayette County Deputy Sheriff.

Officers were dispatched to a report of possible child abuse/neglect in the 500 block of South Washington Street. Officers investigated and determined the incident to be unfounded.

On Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 officers initiated a traffic stop on Dickinson Street at Third Street which resulted in officers issuing the driver a citation for no vehicle insurance. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

On Thursday, October 3, 2013 officers took a report of an unattended death at a residence at the 1300 block of Easton Street.

On Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 officers responded to a domestic dispute at a residence at the 1600 block of Maple Street. The dispute was verbal in nature and no arrests were made.

On Friday, October 4th, 2013 officers took a report of a 2-vehicle non-injury accident that occurred at a private parking lot at the 1200 block of Washington Street. It was reported that a vehicle driven by Richie Carson of Chillicothe, MO and a vehicle driven by Jacqueline Casebolt of Richmond, MO backed and while doing so their vehicles collided. There were no injuries reported.

On Saturday, October 5th, 2013 officers took a report of property damage to a vehicle at the 3000 block of Polk Street. This incident is still being investigated.

On Saturday, October 5th, 2013 officers responded to a business at the 300 block of S. Washington Street in reference to two individuals, a male and female, who test drove a vehicle and allegedly stole the vehicle's keys when they returned the vehicle. This incident is still being investigated.

On Saturday, October 5, 2013 officers initiated a traffic stop at Vine and Clay Street which resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Jacob Parker for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and failure to provide current proof of vehicle insurance. Parker was cited and released from custody pending a court appearance.

On Sunday, October 6th, 2013 officers took a report of property damage to a vehicle at the 200 block of Webster Street. This incident is still being investigated.
