Sports : THS JV Softball Beats Cameron, 4-1

The Trenton JV softball team won at Cameron High School on Tuesday night by a score of 4-1.

Winning pitcher Daryian Otto was dominant, as the sophomore held Cameron to just three hits and a run over six innings, striking out nine batters. With the bats, Ayri Ortiz had a two-for-two night with a pair of RBI's, Hannah Kennebeck was 1 for 2 with two runs scored, Abby Miller was 1 for 2 with a run, Maggie McNabb was 2 for 3, Mason Hooyman added an RBI, and Roya Cox scored a run.

The Trenton JV will HOST South Harrison on Thursday night and Chillicothe on Monday night, following the varsity contests at Johnson Field. Varsity games, both nights, start at 5 o'clock.
