The Grand Champions from Saturdays' Carrollton band day competition were Macon high school for classes one through three; and Oak Grove in classes four and five.

Trenton took first in the class three drum line competition. Gallatin won first place in class two of the drum line. Orrick took top honors among the smallest schools with a drum line.

For indoor color guard, Braymer, Maysville, and Maryville won first place in classes one, two and three respectively.

In the parade competition at Carrollton, first place was won by Orrick, Fayette, and Macon in classes one through three. Among area schools: Gallatin and Trenton were in fourth place in their respective classes while Chillicothe was fifth in its class size.

In the field show, first place honors went to North Shelby, Lone Jack, and Macon, again in classes one, two, and three respectively.

Among middle school parade results, Trenton and Chillicothe were second within its classification.
